Dans l’utilisation avec Power BI, nous avons vu à quel point les tables Calendar peuvent être utiles pour l’utilisation de données temporelle dans les rapports. Nous avions appris à le faire avec Power BI pour le cas où votre source de donnée ne posséderait pas ce calendrier. Mais vous trouverez ci-dessous le script SQL permettant de créer directement de créer une table calendar dans SQL Server ou Azure SQL.
Le script ci-dessus a été récupéré de l’excellent article d’Aaron Bertrand disponible ici. N’hésitez pas à aller le consulter : il donne entre autres des astuces pour gérer les dates de congés, jours fériés, et d’autres cas.
Le script mis à jour ci-dessous permet de créer une table « Calendar » dans SQL Server. Cette table contiendra l’ensemble des dates entre 2020 et 2050.
